Friday evening I traveled to Fort Wayne with Chris, Britt, Adam and Jamie. We had a lot of fun. We ate at BW-3's, and I had this unbelievable Garden Burger and Bloody Mary. Then we went to Chris' brother's house and partied there a little bit. Fort Wayne has this club called Pierre's that we visited. It's 5 bars in one. They had this special going on 40 oz. Miller Light bottles, so I completely hit that up a couple times. In addition they had Hot Sex and Buttery Nipple mixed drinks in the little test tubes, so I bought a couple of those. Luckily the club had a van service, so that no one had to be the designated driver. These girls made fun of me in the van and called me gay, so I kinda lashed out on them. I ripped on their lack of education, calling them dumb broads and stupid bimbos and telling them that they'd be working at McDonalds for the rest of their lives. Yeah, they were offended and did I really win by doing this? Not at all. I must say though, I'm more inclined to be this angry and mean-spirited when I am intoxicated, so I should probably try to do a better job of limiting my alcohol. I said that the last time this happened, but man when I was at Pierre's, I just went off the deep end.
Saturday night Sarah and I drove to Fremont to see the Rocky Horror Picture show. The movie itself was incredible, so many unexpected twists and turns, and great songs as well. Even though it had no plot at all, I loved it. The cast that was performing along with the movie left something to be desired, but Sarah reassured me that there are better shows and casts in places like San Francisco. I think I will check out the one in Columbus, but I'm glad that I've been devirginized in terms of Rocky Horror.
I have a date with the library tomorrow. I'll be spending a great amount of time there because I have a lot to do. I can't wait to get it all accomplished, that will be such an awesome feeling.
In the love life department nothing is going on, and I really don't mind that there isn't anything happening. I am perfectly happy flying solo at the present time.
There's an internship opportunity that popped up for me. It really feels right, and like the position was tailored specifically to my specifications, so I will apply here in the next week or so and see how that goes. This internship would be a dream come true, so hopefully I can dazzle them during the phone interview.
I've decided not to come home next weekend for the Ohio Federation of Independent Colleges Job fair. I am just going to send resumes and cover letters to the two companies of which I had an interest, because I really don't feel like missing class. This also means that I won't have an excuse to visit Columbus till February 23rd (the beginning of Spring break) but these are going to be incredibly busy weeks academic wise, so I probably should stay here in Ada and keep busy with that.
I think the opportunities that are going to become available to me are endless, so I'm excited to continue with life.
